Player Focus: Felix Hernandez Update

Felix Hernandez, the hottest pitcher in the majors during the first couple of weeks of the season, has had a hard time getting back into the swing of things since coming off the DL last month. Through his first 7 starts back, he went 2-3, with around a 4.90 ERA, and allowed 67 hits & 7 HR. Only bright spot was that he averaged around 9.8 K's/9 IP.

Yesterday vs. the Pirates, Felix finally seemed to be back to his old dominant self. He tossed 8 shut-out innings, allowing 6 hits & 1 BB, and struck out 9. If this is truly the turning point, his Auto RC's are going to start heading up again. For those of you that picked a few (or even one) of them up during his time on the DL or while he's been recovering, I think that you'll be very happy with your investment.
